Terms of Service

1. The service

Locametra is online software that helps a business track its local visibility: positions on Google and Google Maps, business profile, reviews, presence in the answers of AI assistants, and recommendations for improvement.

The Local Visibility Score is Locametra's own indicator. It is not an official Google metric. Locametra is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Locametra measures and advises; it does not guarantee any ranking, or any number of visits, calls or customers.

2. Your account

You create an account with an email address and a password, or with your Google account. The information you provide must be accurate.

You are responsible for the use made of your account and for keeping your credentials and access keys confidential. Tell us without delay if you believe a third party has had access to them.

You only track locations that are yours, or for which you have the agreement of the person in charge (as an agency does).

3. Trial and paid plans

Every new account gets a free trial of 7 days. When the trial ends, access to the features is suspended until a plan is subscribed; your data is kept.

Plans, their prices and their limits (locations, keywords, rank checks, maps, AI runs) are those shown on the site at the time of subscription. These limits may change for future subscriptions.

Payment is prepaid: each payment covers one month or one year, as you choose. Nothing is charged automatically and there is no automatic renewal: to continue after the end date, you renew yourself from the “Subscription” page. Reminder emails are sent to you before that date.

At the end of the paid period, without renewal, new analyses are paused; your data is kept.

Packs of additional position maps can be bought one at a time. The maps in a pack do not expire at the end of the month: they are used once the monthly quota of your plan is reached.

Payment is collected by our payment provider, Chariow, on its own page. Locametra neither receives nor stores your card or payment method details.

The free trial is there to test the service before paying. A paid period, or a pack you bought, is therefore not refunded, except where applicable law requires it. If a payment was collected by mistake or twice, write to us at support@locametra.com: it will be corrected.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service fairly. In particular, you must not:

• bypass the limits of your plan or the technical protections of the service;
• extract data from the service in bulk, or resell it without our agreement;
• send review requests to people who are not your customers, or who should not be contacted;
• publish unlawful or misleading content, or fake reviews, through the service;
• disrupt the service or attempt to access another organization's data.

5. Third-party data and generated content

Positions and search results are collected from data providers. They can vary by place, device and time, and may contain errors or delays.

When you connect your Google account, Locametra reads the data you authorize. It changes nothing on your business profile without your explicit approval: a reply to a review is only published when you approve it.

Text suggested by artificial intelligence (review replies, content, recommendations) is a suggestion. You must review it before using or publishing it, and you remain responsible for it.

6. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, without being able to guarantee it: an outage, maintenance or a provider failure may make it unavailable or delay checks.

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for a loss of revenue, customers, ranking or data resulting from its use, nor for the decisions you make based on what it shows.

7. Ownership

The data you entrust to the service remains yours. You authorize us to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

The software, its interface, its brand and its content remain our property. These terms only give you a right of use, for as long as you have access.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time, from the “Account” page. Deletion removes your account and the data of the organizations of which you are the only member.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after informing you when possible.

9. Personal data

How your personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy, available at /privacy.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed, in particular when the service evolves. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use the service after a change, you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Benin. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the dispute is brought before the competent courts.
