More and more people ask an AI assistant “which dentist should I choose in Austin?” instead of searching. Locametra asks those questions for you, on a schedule, and records whether your business is mentioned in the answers.
A coverage rate, not a ranking
An AI assistant does not return a ranked list: two answers to the same question differ. So Locametra does not invent a position. It measures AI Mention Coverage: the share of answers, across your monitored questions, in which your name or your website appears.
Who is cited instead of you
For each question where you are absent, Locametra lists the tracked competitors named in the answer and the websites the assistant cited as sources. Those sources (directories, review sites, local media) are often where you need to be present to be picked up.
What is measured, exactly
Questions are sent to models from OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, through its official API. Answers from an API can differ from what a person sees in the consumer app: Locametra says so on screen and never presents the result as a certainty.

Which AI assistants does Locametra check?
Models from OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, through its API. The screen always shows which assistant produced each answer. Other assistants will be added once they have been verified.
Is this the same as my ranking in ChatGPT?
No. There is no stable ranking in an AI answer. Locametra reports how often you are mentioned across a set of questions, which is the only figure that can be compared over time.
How can I get cited more often?
Locametra shows which sources assistants rely on for your questions. Being listed accurately on those sources, having a complete Google Business Profile and a clear website are the levers it points you to.
